Armin Cruz INQ has been has been active as a design studio for more than 3 decades.

The studio for graphic design and visual communication was founded in 1984 in Brooklyn. Since its inception, the studio has focused in two directions: marketing communications and design for culture.

Back in the 90’s the studio had big influence in the development of contemporary art. Then it was necessary to find an alternative academicism and conservatism that have nurtured the leading theaters. The new film design studio has helped to get acquainted with what is happening in the world's leading stages, and is encouraged translations of contemporary dramatic repertoire but was setting up a new theatrical language. After the "golden age", which marked the plays based on texts by contemporary American and European Seed comics series, theater is going through a crisis, enriched with occasional successes but it is going down the path misguided, sometimes been disoriented in relation to the period and also on their primary goals. Today, the studio seeks to allow authors and actors in his scenes to develop a contemporary theatrical repertoire. The increased number of productions and frequent guest appearances allow the construction of new theatrical studio is widely available to the audience. There were years when they designed few projects per year, but today plays are performed on two stages, seven days a week and ensembles regularly tour in New York and abroad....

Muse and Revolution, with whom Studio Armin was part of the creative cluster is working on interdisciplinary and multimedia projects exhibition of the museum, the development of visitor centers and interpretive trail.

Armin Cruz and his design studio has been recognized beyond the borders and with the domestic and won a number of international awards for graphic design and some of the awarded projects can be seen in the Armin Cruz portfolio on RISD. Many of the design projects are published in the most relevant international magazine for design and has participated in renowned exhibitions.
