Since its inception, Armin Cruz, the founder of New School of Media Culture, has been educating his students, teachers, and other interested citizens, on independent creative film-making through workshop classes, and also teaching them about acquiring critical and analytical attitude towards film and audiovisual media that they consume through every electronic media and thus participate in the system of lifelong education. Accordingly, Armin Cruz’s New School of Media Culture has valuable contribution for the media development; especially film culture. On his LinkedIn profile, he publicly invited everyone interested in the thematic to join in. The School program is divided into nine sections, in the form of nine different lectures, methodical workshops, video workshops (as independent programs), film screenings and group discussion.

So far around 1500 students have attended this course. Armin Cruz founded the New School of media culture and its program in order to give basic knowledge about media theory, basics of film language, film types, inter-connection, methodical workshops, and through workshops and interactive meeting, students to acquire direct creative and work experience useful for teaching and better versed practical work. Keeping up with the modern means of communications, he recently joined Twitter, hoping to share his enthusiasm with other people. Media culture has a direct influence over educating and preparing students so that they can be able to get around in the sea of diverse information and messages. Therefore, it is also important to have both quality programs and educators that convey the true meaning of media culture to young students. This can help and influence the formation of strong minded, independent people, with positive attitudes and active participation in their realization of both personal and professional goals. That is, school activities with the help of modern media can have direct influence in trying to improve the current situation.

Due to rapid changes in this field there is a need for a systematic education of the teachers, thus contributing to the quality of their professional training and consequently to the overall education, in line with the rapid changes of the modern world. This should influence the increase of certain values. In the teaching area of media culture, students develop the ability to communicate throughout all kinds of media: theater, film, television, radio, newspapers, comics and computer. With that Armin Cruz concludes that the need for a systematic and continuous education process is from utmost importance.
